Food security means that everyone in a community has access to enough safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs. 

Our direct grocery order program helps families get the food they need without hassle. This program ensures that healthy options are available right at their doorstep.

In addition, we organize an annual community garden where we grow fresh vegetables during the summer months. This not only provides delicious, fresh produce but also encourages community participation and teamwork.

Lastly, we operate a food pantry at our resource center. This pantry is a vital resource for those facing emergencies, offering them immediate access to food when they need it the most.

 As the back-to-school season approaches, we understand that it can bring a mix of emotions for families, especially for those facing financial challenges. Our Hope for Kids program is here to transform that experience into one filled with joy and anticipation. By providing essential school supplies and an exciting day of shopping for brand-new clothes, we aim to uplift underprivileged youth, ensuring they start the school year with confidence and pride. Together, let’s make this back-to-school journey a joyful celebration for every child, because every kid deserves the chance to shine.  

 At times, families face difficult challenges that can make it hard to meet even their most basic needs. In these situations, even small expenses—like a haircut—might feel like a luxury that can’t fit into the monthly budget. We understand how important it is to support our community during these tough times. That’s why we proudly offer free haircuts for kids twice a year. By providing this service, we aim to relieve some of the financial pressure on families, while ensuring that children feel happy and confident. Let us help take care of this little thing, so you can focus on what matters most. Together, we can make a difference! 

During the holiday season, we understand that every parent wants to bring joy to their children's faces. Our Santa's Workshop is here to lend a helping hand. We invite low to moderate-income parents to join us for a special day of "shopping" for new gifts that will fill their homes with smiles.

We believe that every child deserves that magical moment, and with your support, we can make that happen. At Project Prom, we believe that every young person deserves to experience one of the most memorable nights of their high school journey — prom. Unfortunately, financial barriers can get in the way, and that’s where we step in with compassion and support.

Our program offers FREE prom dresses and accessories to local students, ensuring that everyone has the chance to shine on their special night. By providing access to beautiful attire, we are not just helping them look great; we are empowering them to create cherished memories without the weight of financial stress.

After three years of dreaming, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our “Grow With Us” program at our brand-new location! Designed with local families and children in mind, this initiative aims to support you and your little ones through every stage of growth.

Here’s how we’re helping you and your family:

*  Bumps & Bundles Room: Expecting or recently welcomed a new addition? Our Bumps & Bundles Room is here to ease your parenting journey. From diapers to clothes, we provide essential resources at no cost to help you focus on what really matters – your growing family.

*  Kids Closet: As kids grow, their needs change! Our Kids Closet ensures that no child goes without proper clothing. Parents can come in and select outfits for their children at no charge, helping keep them dressed for any adventure.

*  Little Celebrations: Birthdays should be celebrated! Our Little Celebrations resource lets parents pick out a birthday gift, cake mix, frosting, candles, and everything needed to make the day special without the stress of financial strain.

How to Participate:
To join the “Grow With Us” program, simply book an appointment through the link provided. To qualify, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

1. Must be a resident of Arvada
2. Provide proof of residency (utility bill or lease)
3. Complete an intake packet
4. Show a birth certificate for the Little Celebration resource
